Privacy Policy - the basics 

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 

 

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors an customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much much more.

Cancellation Policy

We understand the pain of cancelling a trek. As travellers, we always look forward to trips, and after months of training and planning, if we have to cancel our trip, there’s no greater disappointment than that. 

This is why we have a traveller-friendly cancellation policy.

 

PENDING PAYMENT POLICY:

  1. Kindly complete your pending payment before 3 Days of the departure of the trip.

  2. Incase you fail to pay the second instalment the organiser holds the rite to cancel your booking 

  3. Boarding will be denied incase of non payment and the seat will be allocated to someone else

  4. Incase of non payment the advance amount paid is not refundable

 

Cancellation for Treks/Campings and weekend Backpacking trips:

 

  1. Cancellation in case you don't turn up on trek on time:Not turning up for a trek is completely a participants concern and any kind of refund is not applicable for such cases

  2. Cancellation incase your not well and could not join: Incase you are unwell it is advisable to take rest however kindly note that you can find a replacement for yourself no refund or transfer is applicable incase of any illness.

In the rare event that we cancel a trek, this is the policy we follow:

 

  1. We almost never cancel our trips. But in case we cancel a trip because of natural calamities (snowstorms, thunderstorms, floods, landslides, earthquakes) or unexpected political unrest, local riots, or government orders, will not be liable for any refund if the trip schedule from first start point has begun.

  2. Incase the trip did not commence and is cancelled prior to departure full refund will given except for train and bus cancellations

  3. Incase of medical emergency or issues same refund policy applies as regular cancellation.

 

 

How to cancel your trek: 

In case, you wish to cancel your trek, follow these steps. 

  1. Send us an email with name and participant details on contact us only if the booking is liable for any refund as per policies.

  2. You will recieve and email in 24 hours for your cancellation if the booking is liable for refund or transfer.

  3. The cancellation policy will apply from the receival of email

  4. It takes around 2-5 working days to get your refund back in source account

  5. No on call cancellation queries will be entertained kindly email for the same

  6. Incase sending replacement it shall be for the same date as you booked for after confirming with us

  7. In case the booking is not liable for refund as per above policies kindly do not drop email and ask for refund or rescheduling.

  8. Only email will be considered for cancellation and no details provided on phone or any whatsapp message will be considered valid as the cancellation team only responds through email for zero miss communication.
